Question 1Can I buy just one book and not be committed to buying any more? Back to top

There is no obligation whatsoever to purchase. You can buy as many books as you like, when you wish. If you buy one book, you do not have to buy another. We are not a book club.

Question 2Do I have to pay a Subscription/Membership Fee to be a Member of The Flyfisher's Classic Library? Back to top

No, we do not charge any Membership/Subscription Fee.

Question 3How long does it take for a book to arrive? Back to top

Delivery times vary - but as a guide -
UK - books are usually delivered within 3 to 4 working days, however, for a small additional charge we can offer a next day delivery service.
EUROPE - books are usually delivered within 3 to 6 working days.
USA/CAN - books are usually delivered within 4 to 7 working days.
REST OF THE WORLD - books are usually delivered within 5 to 10 working days.

Let us know when placing your order. We can arrange a special delivery for a small additional postage charge.

Question 5Can I select a specific number of an edition? Back to top

Yes, we can arrange this for our forthcoming titles, if the number has not already been reserved.

Question 6I would like to buy all of your titles but not all at the same time - can I do this? Back to top

We can reserve the titles for you and then you can choose to buy them on a regular basis of, say, one or two a month.

Question 9I do not have a credit card - how can I pay? Back to top

You can send a cheque or postal order made payable to "Coch y Bonddu Books". If you prefer we can send you details to arrange a bank transfer. We can accept payment in £ sterling and US$.

We are always pleased to help and advise with the choice of titles - simply select Contact Us and send an e-mail or telephone us on Int Code + 44 01654 702837.

Question 11When can I telephone you? - I want to talk someone. Back to top

You will usually be able to contact someone between 9.00 and 5.00 p.m., UK time, on Monday to Friday. However, if you leave a message on our answering machine we will get back to you asap. Alternatively, click on Contact Us, request that we telephone you, letting us know when would be a good time and your contact telephone number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Question 14What is a forthcoming book and how do I order it? Back to top

This is a book that we will be publishing in the future - all our forthcoming books have a proposed publication date. To order simply follow the instructions on the order page. We will not charge your credit card until the book is despatched. You will receive regular updates with details of our publishing schedule.

Question 15What is a "Working Copy"? Back to top

We sometimes have small quantities of some books that have not passed our strict quality control. We offer these at a discounted price. Examples of faults are scuffed bindings, ink marks or slight creases on pages, damaged slipcases or no slipcases, gold blocking imperfect. These are books to work with when fly-tying, to take to the river bank or as an everyday reading/reference copy in addition to your own copy which can then be kept in pristine condition.

Question 16I see that a book is marked Sold Out - is it possible to go on a waiting list in case one becomes available? Back to top

Yes, just send us an email letting us know which title you are interested in and we will contact you if one becomes available.
